Virginia Butler-Haugen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2020, at the age of 93, Virginia Butler-Haugen (Middleton, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ecker and Alvina Ecker (Lefeber); her husbands, Robert P. Butler and Norman H. Haugen; her sister Dolores Griffith (Bill); her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ecker and Muriel Murray; and her nieces and nephews, Cynthia, Michelle, Laura, David and Don.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Butler of Middleton, Teresa Lybeck (Steve) of Bancroft, William Butler (Julie) of Middleton, Catherine Thompson (Dale) of Arena and Anne Salinas of Portland, Ore.; her brother Elroy Ecker; her stepchildren, Glen Haugen (Kathy) of Cincinnati, Kristine Swanson (Jerry) of Rochester, Minn, Martin Haugen (Cheryl) of Clarendon Hills, Ill and Eric Haugen (Joanie) of Black Earth, Wis.; her grandchildren, Matt Lybeck (Courtney), Malcolm Lybeck (Jenny), Jason Thompson (Missy), Shawn Thompson (Tracy), Benjamin Thompson (Kira), Brant Thompson (Lillie), Bobby Butler (Bridget), Chase Butler, Ross Butler (Terri), Michelle Salinas, Elizabeth Swanson, Rachel Forehand (Joel), Bradley Haugen (Jula), Kimberly Forehand (Dan), Christopher Haugen, Emma Haugen, Jack Haugen and Luke Haugen; her brother-in-law Hanley Murray; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Graeme, Dristen, Bradyn, Hailey, Colton, Lukas, Braelyn, Weston and Jonothon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family of Virginia to be designated at a later date.
