Ruth Susan (Zander) Acker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Susan (Zander) Acker of Middleton, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Zander and Rosina Zander (Nonn); her husband Herbert D. Acker; her son Steve; her granddaughter Stephanie; her great grandchildren, Rylan Schmidt and James Vande Hey; her siblings, Jane Lewis, Ted, Linus and Dennis Zander; and her in-laws, Armella Endres, Joseph, Ervin and LaVerne Acker.
She is survived by: her sons, Ken (Connie) of Waunakee and Mark "Rocky" (Joan) of Cross Plains; her daughter-in-law Debbie of Middleton; her grandchildren, Erika Kalscheuer (Doug), Jeremy, Clint (Chrissy), Melanie Knetter (Joel), Katie Madorin (J. C.), Jennifer Schmidt (Adam), Michelle Vande Hey (Jarrod), Wesley (Brittany) and Ramsey Acker (Lyndsey); her great grandchildren, Stephanie, Logan, Brody Kalscheuer, Chloe Acker, Nolan, Chase Knetter, Elliana, Kolby Madorin, Brayden, Alexis Schmidt, Abigail Vande Hey, Bentley, Anistyn, Crew Acker, Mason, Harvey and Ava Acker; her sisters, Dora Barnett (Wilbur "Tex") and Mary Esser (Ray) of Verona; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Burkholder, Kathy Zander and Angeline Kraemer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (7121 County Rod K, Middleton, WI 53562).
