We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Michael Austin of Middleton, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Austin and Ottilia Austin (Ripp); and his brother Rodney Austin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Derra; his children, Cheri Brenton (Ron), Steve Austin (Cindy) and David Austin; his grandchildren, Aaron, Michael and Lauren Brenton; his son Max Austin; and his siblings, Don Austin (Susan), Mary Kay Uselman (late Don), Patt Collins (late Benny), Raymond Austin and Darlene Austin.

In lieu of flowers the family will determine a memorial at a later date.

“Mary, I sorry for your loss. I just saw Mike at the luncheon in Deforest and he seemed in good spirits. He and I worked together for many years and until he retired. Though I haven’t seen him much since he retired it was good to talk to him at lunch. I want to tell you about one day he and I were working together. We stopped at a bakery for brake and he ordered a chocolate covered donut he was pointing at. I noticed it was actually covered with pink iceing. We laughed. He was color blind😄.”
