He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Vavricka and Isabel Vavricka (Schlump); his sister Karren Smith; and his nephew Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his daughters, Jenny Larson (Chad) and Lindsey Vavricka; and his grandsons, Caleb Larson and Connor Larson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Mick's name to the UW Carbone Cancer Center or the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans' Hospital.
