Madeline Christine Laufenberg Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madeline Christine Laufenberg of Middleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Dick Thiel and Ray Laufenberg; her children, Julie Mysliwy and Christopher Thiel; her parents, Anna Pelletter and Mathew Pelletter (Anna Pelletter); and her brothers, Joe and Tony Pelletter.

She is survived by: her daughter Jill Markgraf (Karl); her stepdaughter Lynne Hendee; her son Rick Thiel (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Casey (Patrick McIlhone), Joseph Mysliwy, Karl, Alida Markgraf (Carston Zacharias), Jenna, Tyler and Kyle Hendee; her brother John Pelletter (Rose); her sister-in-law Vicky Pelletter; and her friend Mary Ann Lynch.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to WayForward Resources Food Pantry and Clothing Center or to one of the many other progressive causes Madeline supported.
