He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Conti and Anna Conti. He is survived by: his wife Diana L. Conti; his children, Louis Conti (Linda), Catherine Fielding (James), Elizabeth Conti (Peter), Joseph Conti (Moira) and Diana Conti; and his brother Edward Conti (Chloe). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He will be remembered fondly for his contributions to geology and mineralogy, entrepreneurial spirit, and devotion to family and community.
