He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Acker and Veronica Acker (Hellenbrand); his former wife Theresa; his son Daniel; his in-laws, William and Ada Coghlan (Hunter); and his siblings, Esther, Edwin (Apollonia), Walter (Magdalene), Paul (Lucille) and Henry Acker (Dolores).

He is survived by: his spouse Irish; his sons, Pat Acker (Kathy) of Black Earth and Chris Acker (Ellen) of Cross Plains; his grandchildren, Kaila (Rob), Dustin (Carleen), Zachary (Tammy) and Kaitlyn; his great grandchildren, Everly, Harper, Keegan and Brooks; and his son Stan Skolaski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
