He is survived by: his wife Carol McGowan; his children, Barb Jackson (Mark), Duane Zenke, Julie Grunewald (Jason) and Lisa Gayton (James); his grandchildren, Mitchell Jackson (Rena), Brandon Jackson, Nicolas Miller, Ryan Zenke and Zachary Grunewald; his great grandchild Saanvi Jackson; and his brother Erwin Zenke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial can be made out to the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
