She was predeceased by: her parents, David C. Karr and Violet E. Vedell; her husband Don Scherschel; and her son David. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Joann Theuninck; her children, Donna, Debbie (Ray), Donnie (Shar), Diane (Boo), Danny (Kathy), Darrell (Brenda), Denise (Tom) and Doreen (Henry); her grandchildren, Connie (Tri), Erin (Noah), Zach (Sara), Nichole, Ryan, Ben, Alexis, Nell, Gino and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, McKenzie, Justin, Jayden, Gracie, Leo and Mari.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gunderson West Funeral & Cremation Care (7435 University Ave, Middleton, WI 53562). Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be used to thank the staff at Heritage Assisted Living and Memory Care.
