He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Turner and Selma Turner (Nelson); and his wife Joann E. Aberg. He is survived by: his children, Ann Brenke (Jim), Mark Turner (Jayne), Joy Royston (David), Lori Turner and Lisa Blaski (Tim); his grandchildren, Jeremy Reinert, Kyler Royston (Allie), Jade Royston (Morgan) and Lexi Blaski; and his great grandchild Deklyn Royston.

Memorials may be made to the UW Carbone Cancer Center, Agrace HospiceCare, and Sugar Creek Bible Camp.
