She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Schmidt and Margaret Schmidt (Pape) of Dane, Wis.; her husband George Middleton Jr.; and her children, Ricky, Michael Middleton and Mary Breunig.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Middleton (Jen), Connie Cupp, Terry Middleton (Bobbi Lincks), Karen Foye (Barney), Darlene Middleton (Jack Flint), Rita Middleton and Ronald Middleton; her son-in-law Roger Breunig; and her siblings, Elsie Maly, Martha Dunn, Helen Moretti, Irene Holae and Fed Schmidt. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
