She was predeceased by: her mother Dolores Simon (Laufenberg); her granddaughter Rylee Payne; her father Jack Simon; and her father-in-law Jerome Kessenich. She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her children, Kendra Cleary (Tim), Kelsey Kessenich (Joe Berndt) and Kaitlin Payne (Tyler); her grandchildren, Alden, Hudson, Madden, Kyan Cleary, Lincoln Payne and Elise Berndt; and her siblings, Linda Pertzborn (Dan), Sam Simon (Gladys), Jenny Utter (Terry), Randy Simon (Joyce), John Simon (Katie), Jeff Simon (Michelle), Sandy Utter (Ken), Marla Simon, Chuck Simon, Annette McWilliams (Kevin) and Marcia Parkin (Ray). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in DeDe's name to the UW Carbone Cancer Center or St. Bernard Catholic Church or in memory of Rylee Payne to the American Family Children's Hospital.
