He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frey and Mary Frey (Bongard); his wife Marguerite Messer (Maggie); and his siblings, Warner, Lester, Earl, Laurine and Delores.

He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Bowen and Blakely; his sister Joan Peterson; and his caregivers, Mandy, Crystal, Rachel and Agrace HospiceCare.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to charities of Cliff's last wishes.
