She was predeceased by: her husband Martin "Pete" Peterson; her parents, Theodore Wilkins and Amalia Wilkins (Maly); her siblings, Howard, Joey, Joseph and Lorentsa Roder (Norman); her son-in-law Thomas Hankins; and her siblings-in-law, Alvin Peterson, Norman Roder, Alva Kempfer, Herbert Peterson, Leota Peterson and Carole Wilkins.

She is survived by: her sister Thelma Kempfer of Gainesville, Fla.; her daughters, Karen Vandre (Wayne) of Merrill, Margie Groom of Madison, Mesa, Ariz, Debi Hankins of Middleton and Julie Murray (John) of Madison, Wis.; her grandchildren, Sheila (Patrick), Christopher (Molly), Katie (Andrew), Kim, Michael (Jenny) and Chad (Alyssa); her great grandchildren, Logan, Brayden, Landon, Connor, Ariana, Claire, Calvin, Henry, Tyson and Violet; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Peterson of Hancock, Wis.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
