It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Eilertson of Merrimac, Wisconsin, born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kay "Kathryn" Savides and Theodore "Ted" Nelson Savides. She is survived by: her husband Orwin "Orie" Eilertson; her children, Annya Fahey, Rick Eilertson (Yenti), Tatianna Harris (Ronya) and Jay Eilertson (Dawn); her grandchildren, Kyle, Sean Fahey, Erik, Evan Eilertson, Yunessa, Stacey Reid, Rose Eilertson and Jordan Eilertson; and her siblings, Mary Killough, Marge Benbow (John), Carol "Topsy" Reithel (Cliff), Sue Sprecher (Lon), Ted Savides (Chris) and Larry Savides (Kent). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the "Kit Eilertson Education/Scholarship Memorial Fund" set up with the Bank of Prairie du Sac, 555 Park Ave., Prairie du Sac, WI 53578 to fund scholarships for students from both the Sauk Prairie and Baraboo School Districts. Time and talent donations can also be made to the Merrimac School Community Garden and the First Congregational UCC.
