It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Oligney of Merrillan, Wisconsin, born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Maynard Oligney; his former wife Sherry Oligney (Hicks); his brother-in-law Kris Hagen; and his uncle Larry Peterson. He is survived by: his close friend Peggy Casper; his grandchildren, Jacob Groth, Julia Groth, Ella Oligney-Estill, Carson Kokke, Abigail Hill and Ryan Casper; his siblings, Bruce Oligney (Doris) and Nancy Hagen; and also, Denise Oligney-Estill (Tony), Sara Groth (Paul), Traci Kokke (Brad), David Casper (Rita) and Jennifer Hill (Sam Prindle). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
