He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Johnson and Rose A. Johnson (McIntyre); his wife Martha Johnson; and his grandsons, Damon Johnson and Trever Ritchie.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ritchie (Barbara) of Merrill, Raney Nowinsky (Paul) of Kronenwetter and Cris Johnson (Tanya) of Merrill; and his half-brothers, Floyd Johnson of Wausau and Malcolm McGuirk (Sonny) of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
