She is survived by: her parents, Burl Scantlin and Gail Scantlin (Swanson) of Merrill; her husband William "Buck" Rice; her children, Matthew (Nicole LaFave) of Merrill, Hilary of Merrill and Ashley Rice (Cory) of Medford; and her siblings, Sherry Scantlin (Tom) of Wausau, Gloria Mattson (Tony) of Menominee Falls and Brent Scantlin (Kathy Stone). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
