Russell left this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 60, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Wendt and Luella Wendt (Weide); and his brother Timothy Alan Wendt. He is survived by: his brother Stanley; his sister-in-law Patti Wendt of Merrill; his nieces and nephews, Robert M. Wendt, McKinze Kolehouse (Connor) and Caeden Wendt (Sarah Buenning); and his great-nieces, Emmalyn and Hanna Wendt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (N1660 Leafy Grove Rd, Merrill, WI 54452).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Corning.
