He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Henry and Jacquelyn Carol Thiel (Colling); his sister Cynthia; and his father-in-law Philip Annis. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Annis (Annis); his sons, Tyler Thiel (Nicole) and Lucas Thiel (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Harper, Grayson, Beckett, Lennox, Ellianna and Josephine; his siblings, Michael Thiel (Jayne), Linda Berlin (Greg), Jennifer Mueske (Timothy) and Lisa Hinz; and his in-laws, Joni Annis, Tim Annis (Lynn), Sara Wendorf (Dave) and Lisa Duginski (Bruce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
