She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Halkoski and George Halkoski; her sister Mary Jane Holzem (Greg); and her siblings-in-law, Arnold Platta (Arlette), Vilas Platta, Arthur Platta (Nancy) and Sally Borski (James).
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her sister-in-law Pat Platta; her children, Rhonda Karlen (Michael), Robin Chimniak (Richard) and Royce Platta (Linda); her grandchildren, Kari Dahlke (Scott), Kali Karlen (Rebecca) and Chouinard Chimniak; and her great grandchildren, Devin Dahlke, Ryleigh Weiler (Cody), Kendalyn Dahlke, Mackenzie Karlen (Josh Phillips), Keegan Karlen (Nikole) and Kia Karlen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Aspirus Hospice, Bell Tower Residence, or donations for the family to hold memorial masses in Rose's name.
