He was predeceased by: his father Florian Writz; and his stepfather Jim Makowski. He is survived by: his wife June Writz; his daughter Jenny Teigen (Chad); his grandchildren, Kinsley and Harrison Teigen; his mother Elmira Writz Makowski (Matysik); his brother Rick Writz (Judy Walton); his uncle Danny Writz (Mary); and his aunts, Bernice Passehl and Mary Ann Lindstrum. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Roger.
