He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Gutknecht and Emma Gutknecht; his wife Joan W. Stevenson; and his sister Deloris. He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Harris (Don) of Merrill Wisconsin, Linda Mittelstadt (Steve) of Marco Island and Susan Bergthold (Dennis) of Siloam Springs. He is also survived by Seven Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
