It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ott (Merrill, Wisconsin), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 9, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Ott and Frances P. Ott (Blackburn); and his siblings, Jim Ott (Jo) and Pat Storm. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ott; his children, Steve Ott of Merrill, Jeff Ott (Kim) of Janesville, Liz VanDerGeest (Jeff Robinson) of Merrill, Bob Ott (Becky) of Merrill and Bill Ott (Sommer) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Michael VanDerGeest (Sarah), Melissa Weckwerth (Joe), Molly VanDerGeest, Kevin Watt, Jordan Ott, Lauren Ott, Abby Ott, Madison Ott, Mia Ott, Tyson Ott, Layden Ott, Reese Ott and Braylee Ott; his great grandchildren, Liam, Mila Weckwerth and Essa VanDerGeest; and his brother-in-law Larry Plautz of Merrill. He is also survived by his wife, children, spouses and grandchildren.
The Ott Family has suggested that memorials be directed to St. Francis Xavier Church or School.
