Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe and Mae (Thomas); his siblings, Ron (MaryAnn) and Jo Ann Larsen (Bob); and his son Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Jones; and his children, Lee Opsahl (Stacy Stevens), Ann Kuehn (Jim) and Peggy Riley (Devell). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (300 Logan St, Merrill, WI 54452). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Lincoln County Humane Society or charity of choice.
