He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Johnson and Beatrice Johnson; his brothers, Duane Johnson (Joyce), Richard Johnson, Allen Johnson (Mary) and Jack Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Reverend Herman, Margaret Buesing, David Buesing and David Wolfe.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Arlene Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Kay Cozatt (Rick), Sue Hipp (Karl), Barbara Johnson, David Johnson (Joyce), Mike Johnson (Roxann) and Tom Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church and School, Merrill.
