He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Schotz and Pauline Schotz (Tracy); his son Ryan John Schotz; and his siblings-in-law, Donald and Marlene Woellner.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Woellner; his sons, Jason of Merrill and Justin (Hope); his grandchildren, Grayson and Ariya of Eau Claire; his siblings, Kathy of Rhinelander, William "Bill" (Cindy) of Merrill and Gerald "Jerry" (Ann) of Philo; his siblings-in-law, Gary of Merrill, Donna Dietrich of Merrill, Patty McDonald (Ron) of Merrill, Keith of Merrill, Kim Woellner of Merrill, Brian of Merrill, Shannon Woellner of Merrill, Steve and Mary Woellner of Wausau; and his close friends, Golf Course and Restaurant. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
