He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Steckel and Anna Steckel (Maas); his wife Kathryn Steckel; and his siblings, Lloyd, Frank Jr., Everett, George, Lois and Fran.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Buntrock (Breck); his grandson Isaac Buntrock (Lexi); and his great grandchildren, Isla of Merrill and Ashlynn Buntrock of Merrill.
