With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel R. Day (Merrill, Wisconsin), born in Marion, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 4, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Degner and Elsa Degner (Kundert); her spouse Fahy Day; and her brother Eugene Degner. She is survived by: her former husband Clifford "Diny" Zortman; her children, Sue Okray (Tom) and Dennis Hintze (Barbara); her stepchildren, John Zortman (Sharon), Katie Lopez (John) and Jim Zortman (Sherry); her grandchildren, Steve Hintze (Dawn), Jeff Hintze (Connie), Julie Belfiori (Dom), Michael Okray, Amber Holt (David), Jamie Seliger (Rick) and Alex Zortman; her great grandchildren, Jake, Ben, Mikayla, Tyler, Hunter, Kelsie, Ashley, Abbey, Casey, Cadence, Jackson and Aubrie; her great great grandchildren, Breleigh, Jameson and Jackson; and her siblings, Audrey Kraus, Maggie Woller, Judy Zimmerman (Buck), Leroy Degner, Clarence Degner (Sue) and Gerald Degner (Sharon).
