He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Semling and June Semling (Germain); his brother Daniel Semling; his father-in-law Donald Wold; and his brother-in-law John Frisch.
He is survived by: his pets, Charlie, Pearl and Sweetie; his wife Sarah Semling of Merrill; his mother-in-law Lois Wold of Merrill; his siblings, Donna Hertel of Merrill, Sara Semling (Tom Horsley) of Sister Bay, WI, Connie Semling (Lee Patnode) of Wausau, Steve Semling (Sharon) of Whitestown, IN, Andy Semling (Renee) of Merrill and Dave Semling (Peggy) of Burnsville, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Prain (Mike) of Gleason and Donna Frisch of Merrill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Matt's name may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
