She was loved and cherished by many people including: her great-grandparent Mehitable Jane Young Hamilton of Greenville, ME; her husband Wayne J. Marrier of Merrill; her son Andrew Marrier (Paula Hase) of Wausau; her grandchildren, Chloe Marrier and Derek Marrier of Woodbury, MN; her sister-in-law Pamela Hamilton; her nephew Rodney Hamilton (Valerie) of Darboy, WI; her great-nephews, Jered of Darboy, WI and Carter Hamilton of Darboy, WI; her niece Tamara Walker (Jason); her great-niece Clarrise Walker of Janesville, WI.; and her brother Jack Hamilton. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, local friends and international friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marie's name may be directed to the WPR, TB Scott Library, the Merrill Historical Society or the Christ United Methodist Church.
