She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Bunge and Florence Bunge (Heidmann); her son Jeffrey Zastrow; her former husband Roger Kottman; her sister Janet; her brother-in-law Mayward Krueger; her stepbrother Ken Barnia; and her stepdaughter Cheryl Kottman.
She is survived by: her significant other James W. Engel; her children, Peggy Zastrow (Julian Blaschka) of Mosinee, WI, Steven Zastrow (Bonnie) of Viroqua, WI, Jennifer Beach (Joseph) of Aurora, CO and Malorie Zastrow of Knoxville, TN; her granddaughters, Crystal Mata (Gabriel) of Viola, WI and Amber Zastrow of LaCrosse, WI; her siblings, Norma Hanke of Merrill, WI, Alvin Bunge of Merrill, WI and Betty Zastrow (Phil) of Merrill, WI; her stepchildren, Sharon Hejazivand (Hassan), Kim Bechtal and David Kottman (Andrea); her stepsiblings, Sally Gruetzmacher, Lila Howlett, Linda King, Jim Barnia, Russell Barnia, Laverne Barnia and Susan Riemer; and also Gerald Zastrow (Nancy) of Bullhead City, AZ.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Eagle's Club.
The family asks that rather than flowers, memorials be made to the Merrill Food Pantry.
