He is survived by: his parent Bertha Bubolz (Kienbaum); his son Merrill; his wife Jean H. Bubolz; his children, Elizabeth Gille (Donald), Wausau Burkhardt, Sarah Burkhardt (Todd), Sheila Mueller (Dan) and Mark Bubolz (Bonnie) of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Andrew Gille (Sarah), Jessica Smith (Paul), Jill Anderson (Clint) and Mariah Mueller; and his great grandchildren, Payton Anderson, Jared Anderson and Joshua Krause. He is also survived by four step grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren; one step great great grandchild.
