He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern Kanitz and Patricia Kanitz Sr. (Gartman). He is survived by: his daughters, Jenna Kanitz of Conover, WI and Kelsey Kanitz of Phelps, WI; his grandchild Payton; and his siblings, Jeffrey Kanitz of Merrill, Jim Kanitz (Angela) of Wausau and Lori Koepke (Bill) of Merrill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
