She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Lawrence Heise and Frances Heise (Grosskopf); her sisters, Gretchen and Carolyn Farrell; and her brother-in-law Timothy Farrell.
She is survived by: her former husband William Singleton; her children, Heidi Petersen of Schofield, Gretchen Lorge (Eric) of Kronenwetter, Kirsten Adshead (Adrian) of Madison and Justin Singleton (Jason Erickson) of Milwaukee; her sisters, Jeanne Foster (Bruce) of Valparaiso, IN and Claire Stanek (Stan) of La Crescent, MN; her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Tom), Sarah, Jacob, Brian, Sophie, William, Oliver, Teddy, Charlie and Susannah; and her great grandchild Henry. She is also survived by her husband, children and their spouses.
