She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Heise and Evelyn Heise (Mielke); her husband Merlin Steinagel; her siblings, Roger, Dale Heise and Lois Kainz; and her siblings-in-law, Gilbert, Harold and Irene Bartelt.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Steinagel (Donna) of Merrill, Brian Steinagel (Jodi) of Merrill, Kerry Steinagel (Stefanie) of Cottage Grove, WI and Linda Schultz (Steve) of Merrill; her grandchildren, Kalin, Makyla, Kensey, Bridget, Jase, Carter and Nathanael; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Skye, John, Ellie, Xzverikz, Carson and Ezro; and her brother Gene Heise of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family strongly suggests that donations in Judy's name be directed to either the Arc of Lincoln County (honoring her great granddaughter) or Merrill City Flower Basket program.
