He was predeceased by: his parents, Fahy Day and Jean Day (Falk); his brother John Day; and his father-in-law Edgar Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Carol Day of Merrill; his daughter Lindsey Day Skeens (David Skeens) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and his mother-in-law Wanda Meyer of Minnetonka, Minnesota..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Waid Funeral Home & Cremation Service (301 Eagle Dr, Merrill, WI 54452). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Joe's name be directed to the Merrill Ice Reflections Figure Skating Club or the Lincoln County Humane Society.
