She is survived by: her husband Patrick Hoerstmann; her son Benjamin Hoerstmann of Merrill; her siblings, Julie Thorson (Greg) of Merrill, Scott Osness (Renee) of Wausau and Keith Osness of Sugar Land, Texas; her mother-in-law Maryann Hoerstmann of Hazel Green, WI; her siblings-in-law, Heather Barker (Jim) of Prior Lake, MN, Molly Klefstad (Brent) of Boyceville, WI and Mike Hoerstmann (Kaylen) of Sun Prairie; her nieces and nephews, Melissa Osness, Megan Hoerstmann, Ainsley Barker, Logan Osness, Ivan "Vanya" Thorson, Nick Hoerstmann, Warwick Barker, Cade Klefstad and John Klefstad; her aunts, Barbara Hanson of Merrill, Patsy Travis of Merrill, Betty Latzig of Merrill, Elayne Ollmann (Richard) of Merrill, Phyllis Buch (Ralph) of Merrill, Janet Beyer-Thums of Merrill, Carol J. Osness of Merrill and Darlene Osness of Wausau; and her pets, Izzy, Riley, Pumpkin, Gracie and Mamacita.
Johanna would often be seen, accompanied by one of her faithful canine companions, accepting donations in front of various local businesses.
