He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sommerfeldt and Marie Sommerfeldt (Behrendt); and his brothers, Dr. Ronald Sommerfeldt, MD and Steven Sommerfeldt. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Vocke; his children, Joelle Steiner (Adam) and Benjamin Sommerfeldt (Julia); his grandchildren, Isabella, Joseph and Breanna; and his brother James Sommerfeldt (Sherry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
