Iona M. Fleischman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iona M. Fleischman (Merrill, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Forster and Minnie Forster (Schulte); her husband Floyd Fleischman; her children, Geraldine Fleischman and Robert Fleischman; her son-in-law Alfred'Jim'Fox; her grandson Jesse Fleischman; her siblings, Evelyn Frazier (William Sr.), Martha Winkelman, Emil (Erna), Earl (Betty), Gilbert (Eunice), Donald, Alvin (Donna) and Myron Forster (Wilma); and her brother-in-law Thomas Leavitt.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd Fleischman Jr. of Gleason, Linda Fox of Merrill and Judy Damp of Florida; her daughter-in-law Cindy Fleischman of Wausau; her grandchildren, Becky Teeples (David), Jamie Jablonski (Jason), Corey Fox, Jennifer Meyer (Corey), John Fleischman, Cheryl Erickson (Rick) and Cassidy Fleischman; her siblings, Helen Leavitt, Delores Heiser (Jim) and Walter Forster (Mary Jane); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Forster. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (300 Logan St, Merrill, WI 54452). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
