He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Zunker and Wilma Zunker Sr. (Winkert); his son Kurt Zunker; his grandson Gregory Zunker; his brother James Zunker; and his nephew Jay Zunker.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Zunker of Merrill; his sons, Mark Zunker (Lynette) of California and Brian Zunker (Lisa) of Triploi, WI; his grandsons, Tim Zunker and Ben Gustin (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Milla and Rhys; and his sister-in-law Barbara Zunker.
