It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Prast of Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Schmidt and Ella Schmidt (Neubauer); her husband Alvin Prast; and her siblings, Verna Zuelsdorff (Walt) and Lester Schmidt (Helen).
She is survived by: her children, VerJean Schield (Dennis) of Tomahawk and Philip Prast (Deanna) of Merrill; her grandchildren, Brent Schield of Tomahawk and Heidi Hoock (Geoffrey) of Merrill; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Haley, Claire and Joseph.
