With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Schubring of Merrill, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 10, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Schubring and Marie Schubring (Schmidt). He is survived by: his wife Mavis Henkelman; his children, Kurt Schubring (DeAnn) of Wausau, Janine Wolfe (Maurice) of Wausau, Terese Alcantara (Ric) of Wausau and Wade Schubring (Laura) of Athens, AL; his grandchildren, Karen Kaufman (Doug Zongker), Joe Kaufman (Robert Alderman), Elliott Alcantara, Tamika Sanders (Shane), Allison Beyerl (Andy), Brianna Iczkowski (Clint), Patrick Alcantara (Nik King), Morgan Schubring (Neil Long) and Nathan Schubring; his great grandchildren, Connor Sanders and Emilia Sanders; his brother Allan Schubring (Marge); and also, Ron Evans and Ron Woelfle. He is also survived by many in-laws, relatives and dear friends.
