He was predeceased by: his parent Gerald F.; and his brother David Plautz. He is survived by: his parent Bimp; his wife Carol Plautz of Merrill; his children, Sue Pyan (Dave), Wendy Plautz, Sheboygan Plautz and Beaver Plautz (Heather); his grandchildren, Bradley Pyan, Justin Pyan, Zakary Plautz, Josh Plautz, Piper Plautz and Paige Plautz; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Ziemke (Alice) of Merrill and Shirley Ziemke.
