He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Oberg and Gladys Oberg (Thompson); his mother-in-law Lenore Ehlert; his siblings, Jerry Oberg, David Oberg, Richard Oberg, Ronald Oberg and Bonnie; and his nephews, Steve Oberg and Chris Garski.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Oberg; his children, Lynn Oberg-Hinz (Jeff Hinz) and Scott Oberg (Julie); his grandchildren, Adam Dotter, Elly Hanson (Troy), Sheena Oberg (Ty Zimmerman) and Kathleen Rauchle (Steve); his great grandchildren, Tillie, Finn and Kane; his sisters, Nancy Kunkel (Jerry) and Sharon Garski (James); and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Oberg and Charles Krueger (Maripat). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
