With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred M. Reader of Merrill, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelli Reader and Harry; his wife Dorothy Reader; his daughter Kerry Reader; his siblings, Mildred'Millie' Morris (Robert), Keith Reader (Sara), Buehla'Sis' Bartlet (Donald), Charles Reader, Ardell Reader and Earl Reader; and his stepbrother Harry Reader.
He is survived by: his stepmother Dorothy Johnson; his children, Denise Dengel (Dan) of Merrill, Melody Cisar (Richard) of Oconto, WI and Tim Reader (Sandy) of Merrill; his great grandchildren, Kassi Jo Erickson (Joshua) of Merrill, Krista Lewandowski (Andy) of Merrill, Nikole Vergin (Kyle) of Oshkosh, Gregory Cisar (Kayla) of Howard, Megan Reader (John Suggs) of Merrill, Mallory Rose (Luke) of Merrill, Bella, Noah, Alaynah, Beckett, Hadley, Carter and Quniton; and his stepbrother Harold Reader (Linda) of Harshaw.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (1104 E 3rd St, Merrill, WI 54452). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
