He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Pester and Nora Pester (Kuether); his daughter Jolenne Pester; his siblings, Richard, William, Gus, Roland Pester, Eleanor Loud and Emily Zemke; his stepchildren, Gary Bienfang and Sharon Baguhn; and his stepgranddaughter Anne Germain.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Gille; his children, Arthur Pester (Debbie) and Deborah Geier; his stepchildren, Laurie Germain (Michael), Michelle Sczygelski (Howard), Jean Kouba (Thomas), Polly Koebe (Jay) and David Bienfang (Jenny Tesch); and his brother Donald Pester. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten step grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren.
