He was predeceased by: his parents, Stillman Winchell and Cornelia Winchell (Amelse); and his sisters, Agnes Winchell, Carol and Susan Winchell.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Winchell of Merrill; his sons, Emmit M. Winchell of Redwood Falls and Josh Winchell (Nyssa) of Wausau; and his siblings, Sandy Winchell of Merrill, Anna Winchell of Wausau, Levi of Merrill, Edmond Winchell of Merrill, Gerald Winchell (Nancy) of Mayville, Gerard Winchell of Rothschild and Louis Winchell (Mary Ann) of Hatley.
