He was predeceased by: his parents, August Hielke and Martha Hielke (Kobernick); his wife Mary K. Hielke; and his daughter Margaret K. Hielke. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Connell (Mark) of Eau Claire, Bethann Vaubel (Tom) of Green Lake, Robert Hielke of Madison, Susan Yerkes of Middleton, MA and Michael Hielke (Rebecca) of Phoenix, MD.; and his grandchildren, Michael (Sydney), David, Kathryne Connell, Eric (Kat), Abigail Vaubel, Andrew (Rachel), Catie Yerkes, Mason, Miles and Reagan Hielke.
