It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Berndt (Merrill, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 5, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos Berndt; her parents, Rhinehard Barz and Erna Barz; her son James Berndt; her son-in-law Charlie Case; her siblings, Delores Dobson (Don), Donald Barz and David Barz; and her siblings-in-law, Miriam Salefske (Elgart), Norman Berndt (Adeline) and Lylas Berndt (Bernice).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Berndt Case and Terry Berndt; her daughter-in-law Carol Westfall Berndt; her grandchildren, Tim Case, Chris Berndt (Sunshine) and Melissa Pregler (Joe); her great grandchildren, Ellen Mondeik, Lauren Case, Kennedy Berndt, Liberty Berndt, Jordan Pregler and Jaxon Pregler; and her sister-in-law Kay Roberts (Mic). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
